During the Covid lockdown (Mar-Oct 2021) I worked with Community Integrated Care and Open Eye Gallery to help adults with learning difficulties express themselves through photography.

The aim was to prepare participants to document their roles as volunteers at the Rugby League World Cup (many participants played Disability Rugby). This event was cancelled, but the project was a great success and has been extended.

While online only, this project was an incredible experience. It showed me how to best work online, to develop relationships and use technology in new ways to aid communication with people.

Seeing the skills developed, and the way the group came together over the course, make this one of my very favourite artistic experiences.
