Punch Bowl: Eccentric Geometries

The Punch Bowl is a Grade II-listed luminaire folly, measuring over 12 feet high and 9 feet wide. This installation, Eccentric Geometries, plays on the theme of the folly, becoming a ‘folly-on-a-folly’, a ‘just-because’. It is intended to make the viewer see the Punch Bowl in a new context. The colour palette reflects the flowers of rhododendrons and azaleas which adorn this grove in Spring.

Constructed from duralar film folded into over 50 geometric origami shapes, spray painted with Montana Gold acrylics.
