International Group Exhibitions for the Art'In Lima Festival 2025.

Each year in Ponte De Lima, northern Portugal, a contemporary arts festival is held throughout the summer. Artists are invited from around the world and their works are shown in prominent locations of the village (Ponte De Lima is quite large, but is very proud to retain the title 'village', being one of the first in Portugal 900 years ago).

I was honoured to be selected for this exhibition, and my work 'Because She Changes' was shown in the ancient convent, dating from 1481, which is now the 'Museu Dos Terceiros'.

I was also invited to create an installation for the Centre for Interpretation and Promotion of Vinho Verde. For this, I created a version of '1000th Of A Wish' using several hundred metamorphogram cranes to fit the theme of myth, legend and history. The horizontal and vertical silhouettes of the installation replicate the shape of the River Lima as it courses through the village.
