Alun Kirby was honoured to be selected for the AIR Open 2017. Curated by Becky Wild at AIR Gallery / A4 Studios, the show brought together 40 pieces from a range of both emerging and established contemporary artists.
Aluns selected work was ‘Spring Sprung‘, a cyanotype metamorphogram of a kinetic origami form.

Also included were painted 3D works by Helena Denholm, scraperboard drawings by Tristram Aver,  Elizabeth Brickell’s deconstructed books, which also incorporated the cyanotype technique, and sculpture by Tets Ohnari.

The exhibition ran from 10th August until 30th September. See below for more images of the AIR Open 2017.
